The Merritt Group team always looks forward to the best week of the year—Merry Week of Giving—where our offices come together for a week of volunteering, holiday activities and giving back to the local community. We knew this year was going to be different with our staff working remotely for the last eight months due to COVID-19, but we’re not letting that stop us. Giving back is more important than ever to our agency, so today we’re thrilled to launch our inaugural Merritt Group Merrython virtual charity run!
As the weather turns colder and we’re all cooped up inside, this unique event allows us to give back, while having fun at the same time. The best part? Regardless of location, ability or schedule, anyone can participate, so sign up via our website. When you register, you’ll be able to choose your distance (one mile, 5K or 10K) and can elect to walk or run in your most festive holiday gear.
The heart of Merritt Group is the heart of our community, and we voted as an agency to select a benefiting organization that has a direct impact in our communities. Learning that one in four children could face hunger this year in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic led us to select No Kid Hungry as our charity partner for the run. No Kid Hungry is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive.
