How Hittite became a leader among alternative energy companies in the U.S. market
Merritt Group helped Hittite Solar Energy create awareness of its innovative alternative energy technology in the U.S. market by developing an integrated marketing campaign that included product marketing collateral, a new trade show booth, website copy and corporate and executive videos.
Based in Turkey, Hittite Solar Energy developed an innovative alternative energy technology and wanted to create awareness in the U.S. market. Merritt Group assisted with the U.S. launch at the Solar Technology Acceleration Center (SolarTAC) in Colorado by positioning the company as an innovator focused on concentrated solar power.
Because the privately-funded company had not been focused on the U.S. market, Hittite Solar needed a partner that could help them launch the brand in North America. To further complicate things, Hittite needed to quickly develop a full suite of marketing materials in time for the U.S. public/media launch of its unique parabolic trough design at a SolarTAC event in the Denver area just months away.
Merritt worked very quickly to develop product marketing collateral, a tradeshow booth, web copy and corporate and executive videos to convey Hittite’s value proposition in the market. Because Hittite Solar had a unique parabolic trough design, our designers were careful not to expose the innovation entirely, as it was still very sensitive intellectual property. Merritt crafted materials and messages that positioned Hittite as a leader among solar players in this highly competitive market.
Within a few weeks, Merritt was able to pull together trade show signage, web copy, product marketing sheets and a video that gave Hittite a professional appearance as it prepared for its launch at the SolarTAC testing site. We also generated coverage in The Denver Post for Hittite Solar’s entry into North America.
