1. What do you do at Merritt Group?

I’m a Senior Account Executive at Merritt Group, which means that I spearhead media and analyst relations and overall strategy for clients within our Security Practice.

2. What’s your favorite piece of technology?

This is going to sound really silly, but I think I’m torn between my cat feeder and my phone. As a PR professional, I definitely couldn’t live without my cell phone, but I’m pretty sure my cat would never let me sleep if I didn’t have an automatic cat feeder. 

3. What’s Your Favorite Thing About Living in the Washington, D.C. Area?

There’s just SO much to do. I love to read Washington Post’s Going Out Guide and learn about all the exciting things happening in the area. Besides a good Philly cheesesteak, I feel like D.C. really has something for everyone.

4. What do you love to do when you are not working?

I’m a big foodie and love trying new restaurants, especially Thai. Outside of work, I like to do just about everything – from reading or binge watching Netflix to hiking and exciting events in the area like wine and cider festivals.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR PODCAST RECOMMENDATIONS?

I absolutely love Serial! I download episodes to listen to at the gym, and I’ve gotten so hooked. I’ve tried to expand my podcast library, but nothing grabs my attention as much.

6. What’s one thing you can’t live without?

There’s nothing I love more than curling up on my couch with a glass of wine at the end of a long day. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t live without wine, especially Pinot Grigio and Champagne.

7. What’s the most interesting item on your desk?

My bamboo plant. One of my previous managers gifted it to me after an especially successful campaign, and it’s been a lucky charm ever since.
