As one of the nation’s largest managed care organizations, Heritage Provider Network (HPN) serves more than one million patients. Despite more than 30 years of experience and innovation, the organization was not well known in the national healthcare discussion and needed to increase its visibility as a thought leader among patients and providers.

Merritt Group leveraged HPN’s deep expertise in managed care to participate in timely stories about Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) resulting from the passage of the Affordable Care Act. The team also worked with HPN to promote a series of multi-million dollar competitions with partners including the National Institutes of Health and Merck.

As a result of combined media and events outreach, Merritt was able to position HPN as a thought leader and innovator in the national ACO dialogue. Merritt also secured several speaking opportunities at healthcare shows including the Health 2.0 Fall Conference, American Medical Group Association (AMGA) Institute for Quality Leadership, the Annual Population Health Colloquium and the iHT2 Health IT Summit.
